By using Refl, you agree to use the service in a way that does not create harm, deception, abuse, or unreasonable disruption for other users. These rules help keep public links and shared application resources usable.
Responsibility for destination content
The person who creates a link is responsible for selecting its destination and for the content available there. A short URL on the Refl domain does not mean Refl owns, endorses, or recommends the destination.
Prohibited uses
- Phishing, malware, impersonation, fake login pages, or attempts to collect information without authorization.
- Misleading destinations intended to deceive users about who operates a page or why a link was shared.
- Heavy automated use intended to bypass limits, overload the service, or interfere with access for others.
- Attempts to access accounts, administrative areas, or information that belongs to another user.
- Use that clearly violates applicable law or the rights of other people.
Reported links
Links reported as harmful, deceptive, or otherwise problematic may be reviewed. Refl may block or disable a link when there is a reasonable basis to prevent further access through the Refl domain.
Accounts and aliases
You are responsible for protecting your login information. Custom aliases must not be used to impersonate others or create a misleading impression about a destination. Reserved or operationally unsafe aliases can be restricted.
Tools and generated output
Refl utilities are designed to speed up preparation work. You remain responsible for reviewing generated metadata, links, images, files, and other output before publishing them in a production environment.
Integrations and programmatic access
API keys and integration credentials must be protected. Access that creates unreasonable load, bypasses limits, or attempts to interfere with service operation may be restricted.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Refl reliable, but maintenance, network issues, hosting changes, and events outside our control can cause temporary interruptions. These terms may be updated as the product changes; the current version is published on this page.
